Full job description

Packing Operative
Cardiff Distillery

Cardiff Distillery, established in 2019, is one of the leading distilleries in Wales and the UK. We take pride in our modern production methods and high-quality products. As we continue to grow, we are looking to recruit Packing Operatives to work alongside our canning line team on our day shift operation.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced environment within an ambitious and supportive Welsh business.

Key Responsibilities

Packing finished products accurately and efficiently
Conducting visual quality checks on products before packing
Labelling, boxing, and preparing orders for dispatch
Assisting in maintaining a clean and organised packing area
Supporting the canning line team as needed
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Performing other warehouse or packing duties as required

Working Hours

Monday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Thursday: 6:00am – 12:00pm

This role operates on a 4-day working week. Flexibility is essential to meet production targets and operational requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in packing, warehouse, or manufacturing roles (preferred but not essential)
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Team player with a strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
