About Clearly Hearing Audiology Centre

Clearly Hearing Audiology Centre is an independent audiology practice providing patient-centred hearing healthcare across London. We believe hearing healthcare should be accessible, evidence-based, compassionate and focused on improving quality of life rather than simply treating hearing loss.

We provide a broad range of services including adult and paediatric hearing assessment, hearing rehabilitation, hearing aids, tinnitus support, ear wax removal, hearing protection, auditory processing disorder (APD) assessment and rehabilitation, and domiciliary care.

As a small independent practice, we place significant value on clinical excellence, professional development, collaboration and treating every patient as an individual. We are looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Audiologist or Band 5 Audiologist who shares these values and is eager to develop their skills within a supportive and varied clinical environment.

The Role

This position is ideal for a newly qualified or early-career audiologist looking to gain experience across multiple areas of audiological practice while working alongside experienced clinicians.

You will have the opportunity to develop skills in:

Adult diagnostic audiology
Paediatric hearing assessment
Hearing rehabilitation
Hearing aid assessment, fitting and aftercare
Real Ear Measurement and hearing aid verification
Tinnitus assessment and support
Ear wax removal (training can be provided if required)
Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) assessment and rehabilitation
Multidisciplinary working with ENT specialists and other healthcare professionals

We are committed to supporting professional growth and encourage attendance at training events, conferences and CPD activities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for adults and children.
Perform otoscopy, tympanometry, pure tone audiometry and speech testing.
Develop patient-centred management plans.
Deliver hearing aid fittings, verification and follow-up care.
Provide counselling and rehabilitation for patients with hearing difficulties.
Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
Identify appropriate onward referrals and red flags.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external healthcare professionals.
Participate in service development and quality improvement activities.
Contribute to a positive patient experience throughout the clinical journey.

What We Are Looking ForEssential

BSc Healthcare Science (Audiology) or equivalent recognised audiology qualification.
Eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake domiciliary visits (or ability to travel independently between sites).

Desirable

Experience of hearing aid fitting and verification.
Experience with paediatric audiology.
Experience performing ear wax removal.
Knowledge of tinnitus management.
Interest in auditory processing disorders.
Experience using NOAH and audiology practice management systems.
