We are seeking a dedicated Fence Installer squads to join our construction team. The successful squads will be responsible for installing various types of fencing, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on each project. This role offers an excellent opportunity for long term work on diverse projects across residential and commercial sites. Applicants must be reliable, physically fit, and eager to contribute to high standards of craftsmanship.
Duties
- Measure and mark fencing layouts according to project specifications
- Prepare the site by clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment
- Install fence posts using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Attach panels or boards securely using appropriate fasteners and techniques
- Operate machinery such as post drivers, drills, and saws safely and effectively
- Ensure all fencing installations meet safety standards and client expectations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes
Skills
- Proven experience in fencing and general construction work.
- Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, chisels, levels) and power tools (drills, saws)
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques relevant to fencing materials.
- Strong physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
