Join a growing swim school delivering high-quality swimming lessons and water safety training
We are currently recruiting Swim Teachers (Level 1 & 2 qualified or equivalent) to join our friendly and professional team. You will be delivering fun, structured and progressive swimming lessons to children (and potentially adults), helping swimmers of all abilities build confidence, improve technique, and develop essential water safety skills.

Swim Teacher Role:
As a Swimming Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and structured swimming lessons for children and/or adults
- Teach core swimming skills including stroke development, breathing, and water confidence
- Promote water safety and survival skills in lesson
- Assess swimmer ability and support progression through swimming stages
- Create a positive, safe and encouraging learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding progress
- Work as part of a professional swim school team
- Represent Edge Swim School with professionalism, enthusiasm, and commitment
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Swim England Level 1 or 2
- STA Award or certificate Qualification
- Previous experience as a Swim Teacher / Swimming Instructor (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of swimming techniques and water safety
- Confident working with children in a teaching environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, patient and encouraging teaching style
- Reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and confident
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- Experience delivering learn-to-swim programmes
- Knowledge of swimming lesson planning and progression frameworks
- Experience working in a swim school, leisure centre or coaching environment
- Level 1 Swimming Assistant qualification (for trainee applicants)
- Experience working with children in a teaching or coaching environment

Rate of Pay:
- Highly competitive hourly rate + flexible working hours + ongoing training
- £14.00 – £27.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
