Here at GH we are an up and coming Security company based in the Perth/Tayside area. We cater mostly to Pubs and Clubs on a weekly basis, with many opportunities to be involved with festivals and events, football and the occasional corporate security taskings. Currently we are looking to expand further as the team grows. At GH we pride ourselves in providing polite, friendly security staff and are keen to get away from the "Bouncer" or "Hired Goon" stereotypes.
Overview
As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within our establishments. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being of guests and staff while upholding the venue's policies. You will monitor entry and exit points, manage crowd control, and respond to any incidents that may arise. This position requires a vigilant individual with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing a safe environment.
Duties
Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
Conduct regular patrols of sites or Venues ensuring the safety and security of people and assets
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, providing first aid when necessary.
Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents.
Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences or actions taken during your shift.
Skills
A strong willingness to learn and friendly approach to conflict management.
Strong first aid skills, with relevant certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests and staff.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations tactfully.
A keen eye for detail, enabling quick identification of potential security threats.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Join our team as a Door Supervisor and contribute to creating a secure environment for all patrons while developing your skills in security management.
At GH we are aware that most Door Supervisor roles are taken as a second job, or fit around a busy schedule. As such, we cater to this and all work with us will be ADHOC and rotas will be built around YOU and your availability.
All we ask from you is that you have a valid indate SIA DS licence and a keen willingness to work.
