Full job description

This is an excellent opportunity to join Dunfermline Athletic Football Club Ltd at an exciting time. We currently require a Kit and Laundry Assistant for 30 hours per week.

The Role

We are looking to hire a Kit and Laundry Assistant who will be required for afternoon work on weekdays for the Laundry of the First Team players/staff kit and assist the Kit Manager on First Team Matchdays.

The successful candidate should be able to work independently with little supervision and be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. Previous experience of working in a Kit Laundry role at a professional Sports Club is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

To launder all first team players/staff training kit after use and have it ready for use the next day
Liaise with Football Operations Manager and/or Kit Manager on all matters concerning kit and equipment.
Ensuring the effective logistical planning for all required kit and equipment surrounding home and away matches and transport kit in club vehicle
Assist the Kit Manager in organising and co-ordinate all kit and equipment for travel and the loading of club transport ready for departure.
Assist the Kit Manager in preparing the team dressing room and coaches’ kit ahead of all home and away fixtures.
Be adaptable and ability to work in a fast paced working environment.
Assist Football Operations Manager/Kit Manager with kit orders to ensure stock is always at required level.
Adhere to protocol and respect confidentiality in all matters.

Person Specification

Full driving license and access to vehicle is essential.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
Good time management.
Proven track record of working effectively to deadlines.
Experience working independently in managing processes from start to finish.
Confident, resilient and self motivated
Attention to detail.

Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
