About The Company

We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Engineer to join our growing team and help support our continued expansion.

About The Role

The successful candidate will carry out a mixture of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, servicing, fault finding, and installation works across a range of commercial and public sector buildings.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial ventilation, heating, and mechanical building services systems
Completing PPM tasks within required timeframes and ensuring all associated paperwork and service documentation is accurately completed
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to ventilation systems, air handling units (AHUs), extract and supply systems, heating equipment, pumps, valves, and associated plant
Undertaking ad-hoc and quoted works from initial assessment through to completion
Carrying out installation, replacement, and upgrade works on commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
Completing basic plumbing and mechanical repairs associated with building services installations
Managing materials and equipment required for works and ensuring efficient use of company resources
Maintaining excellent communication with clients, site representatives, and management
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with company health & safety procedures and industry standards
Representing the company professionally while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction

What Are We Looking For?

Experience working within facilities management and building services maintenance
Full UK Driving Licence
NVQ Level 3 in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing & Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent qualification
Experience completing PPM and reactive maintenance works on commercial HVAC systems
Strong knowledge of ventilation, heating, and general mechanical services
Experience carrying out plumbing and general mechanical works
Commercial Gas qualifications desirable

Desirable But Not Essential

F-Gas Category 1 Certification
ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications
Experience working within healthcare or educational environments
CSCS Card or equivalent
First Aid qualification
