Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Property Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting property management operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong administrative skills, and experience with property management software such as Yardi. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within the property sector.

Responsibilities

Assist with property listings, tenant communications, and lease administration
Manage data entry tasks accurately within property management systems
Support the organisation of property inspections and maintenance schedules
Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and provide prompt assistance to tenants and clients
Upsell additional services or rental opportunities where appropriate to maximise occupancy rates
Maintain organised records of property transactions, correspondence, and documentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction
Carry out property inspections, check in, check out, condition and inventory reports.

Qualifications

Experience similar property management software is desirable
Previous office or administrative experience is preferred
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
Proven ability to upsell services in a courteous and effective manner
Administrative experience in a property or real estate environment is advantageous
