About the Role
We are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our property team. Applications are welcome from candidates with a range of experience levels, including qualified, part-qualified, and experienced unqualified conveyancers.
This role involves managing residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with all legal and procedural requirements.
We offer flexibility in working arrangements, with the option of hybrid working or fully office-based depending on experience and preference.
The position suits someone who is organised, confident managing their own caseload, and committed to delivering a high standard of client service within a busy conveyancing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters independently
- Handle sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Progress files from instruction through to completion and post-completion stages
- Draft, review, and process legal documentation throughout transactions
- Conduct property searches, review results, and deal with associated enquiries
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
- Provide clear and regular updates to clients throughout the process
- Maintain accurate records and update case management systems
- Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines across multiple files
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing (essential)
- Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
- Experience within a conveyancing or residential property legal environment
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Competent with case management systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Able to work accurately under pressure in a busy environment
- Professional, reliable, and detail-focused approach
Qualification (CLC, CILEX, SRA or equivalent) is desirable but not essential where experience is proven.
Working Arrangement
- Hybrid working available (mix of office and remote work)

Pay: £24,420.00-£65,184.70 per year
