The Role Are you a master of the grill and a champion of the kitchen? We aren’t just looking for someone to "prep meals"—we are looking for a dedicated Cook to join the heart of the Waffle family. At Waffle, the kitchen is where the magic happens. You’ll be responsible for turning out our authentic, caramelised Liege waffles and high-quality savoury dishes that keep our Axminster & Lyme community coming back for more.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Crafting Greatness: Prepare and cook a variety of meals exactly to our specs—from our signature waffles to seasonal savoury favourites.
- Mastering the Kitchen: Keep the engine room running smoothly by maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation.
- Creative Collaboration: Work with the team to brainstorm new menu ideas (rhubarb ripple waffle, anyone?).
- Kitchen Leadership: Help us stay stocked, stay clean, and stay fast during those legendary busy Saturday rushes.
- Team Spirit: Support and train new teammates so we all win together.
Are You The One?
- Experience: You’ve got a background in a busy kitchen (café or restaurant) and you know your way around a stove.
- Food Safety Pro: You know your regs and hygiene standards like the back of your hand.
- Cool Under Pressure: You can handle a "Senior Citizen Day" or a Bank Holiday rush with a smile.
- Communication: You're a team player who actually enjoys working with other people.
- Flexibility: You’re happy to jump in on shifts, including weekends when the shop is buzzing.
