*please note this is an experienced role and the right candidate must have professional experience, grooming their own dog does not count as experience as you will be expected to know how to groom most breeds*
A very high standard with grooming alongside a passion and drive is a must.
Due to maternity we are looking for a Dog Groomer at Tiverton Dog Centre. We are a 5* council licensed day care that provides daycare, training and grooming. This will be a permanent position.
The right candidate must be able to complete grooms to a high standard within a 1.5 - 2 hour time frame for an average medium dog groom. Qualification not necessary but must be able to show experience.
A lot of the grooming dogs will be within the daycare so there is no pressure of dogs coming/going at certain times or speaking with customers.
We can be very flexible with timings. We can offer up to full time for the right person but we are also happy to discuss part time hours. We are open 7:30-6, Monday - Saturday, so we can offer any length days within this. We can also offer weekend work for the right person.
You will be working unsupervised so must be competent at completing grooms to a high standard without assistance.
Salary will be determined upon interview and dependant on experience. Position is employed.
