Job Summary

We are seeking a Timber CNC Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC saw machinery to produce precise timber components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, mechanical knowledge, and materials handling to contribute to high-quality timber production. Duties

Operate CNC saw machinery to cut timber according to specified dimensions and designs.
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
Utilise hand tools and tooling to assist in machine setup and minor repairs
Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including loading and unloading timber stock
Assist with fabrication and assembly as required for project completion
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to facilitate precise cutting and assembly processes
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards

Qualifications

Experience in fabrication or CNC machine operation within a manufacturing or warehouse environment an advantage
Competence in using hand tools, tooling, and basic maths for measurements and calculations
Knowledge of materials handling procedures within a warehouse setting
Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and work efficiently under supervision
Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standards
Forklift Licence
