Kitchen Assistant – Part Time Alternative Weekends, The Potting Shed Restaurant

Location: Duns, Berwickshire

Hours: Every Second Weekend

Saturday 9am – 4.15pm & Sunday 9am – 4.15pm

The Potting Shed Restaurant in Duns is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant, on a part time basis every second weekend. The successful candidate will share the Team's vision of providing a first-class service to its customers, be driven to succeed and be looking for challenging & rewarding career.

Duties will include:

Preparation of all food in accordance with specified menu
To prepare salads, paninis, help with breakfast plates & putting lunch plates together.
Ensure all hygiene and health and safety processes are followed and recorded while on duty
Work efficiently with Head Chef to plan, prep and deliver high standards of food
Also, general kitchen duties such as washing up, cleaning down etc.

Qualifications:

Food & Hygiene – Desirable but not essential

Responsible to: Manager & Head Chef

Hourly Rate: Above National Living Wage
