Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Waldorf Summer Homeschool Teacher to join a family traveling in Surrey and Ibiza. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners through innovative teaching methods rooted in Waldorf education principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering creativity, curiosity, and holistic development during the summer months.

Duties

Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with Waldorf educational philosophies for children participating in the summer homeschool programme.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, imagination, and social interaction.
Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere and support individual student needs.
Assess student progress through observations and informal assessments, providing constructive feedback to both children and parents where appropriate.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's learning experience.
Organise outdoor activities, arts and crafts, storytelling, and other experiential learning opportunities that complement the curriculum.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and developmental milestones throughout the programme.

Requirements

Proven experience in early childhood education or related teaching roles, preferably within Waldorf or alternative educational settings.
Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to create a calm, respectful classroom environment.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for holistic education and fostering creative learning experiences.
Ability to organise activities that promote social-emotional development alongside academic growth.
Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or teaching are desirable but not essential if complemented by extensive practical experience. This role provides an enriching environment for educators committed to nurturing young minds through innovative pedagogical approaches during the summer season.

Pay: £7,500.00-£10,000.00 per month
