We are Carlone Limited and we are looking for a Professional and Friendly Bus Driver to work in our family business.
We are looking for committed professional driver's to join our team, we have vacancies for:-
- FULL TIME 50H +
- PART TIME 20-30H
- CASUAL / AD-HOC
We have multiple shift patterns available
- Weekends
- Early starts
- Late Shifts
- School run
You need to be located reasonably close to our depot in Chertsey to make this a viable role.

We are a small company (30 Employees) the owner (ME) is heavily involved in operations/driving so we understand the job good and bad, but we expect drivers to be passenger focused and professional at all times.

Position Involves:
- Full Time bus driver 50+ Hours a week
- £16.50-£18.50 Per hour
- Part Time Driver 10-30H PW
- School Bus Driver 25-30H PW School Days Only Split duty (Not Paid Through)
- All duties are paid from sign-on to sign-off (including breaks) shifts are between 10-12H, we have multiple start & finish times, and are flexible where possible, but Full Time drivers need to be comfortable with Early starts or Late finishes.
- Work: Driving one of our modern PSV vehicles 14-31 seats
- Must have category D PSV licence (Minimum 1 year BUS driving experience)
- Must be professional and friendly, and happily assist our passengers and community – help build a good rapport with our passengers.
- Ability to commute to our yard: Chertsey, KT16 0AW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) drivers ideally need to be based within 30min of the depot.
- Enhanced DBS may be required / arranged (School runs)

- Carlone has been running for over 40 years, we are a second-generation family business and a long-established Minibus operator based in Lyne, Surrey.
We have built up a number of Public Bus Services and School routes over the years and have recently expanded, we now need new members for our growing team.
We are a second-generation family business with professional standards, but still managing to maintain the friendly ethos you can only get from a smaller company - the proof is in our low staff turnover. Our fleet is modern as well as our practices, and we want to provide a great service and working environment, so it is important to us that things are done the right way.
All our work is contracted and local, we do operate almost 24/7 and this gives us flexibility with our employees, we manage to fit drivers with their preferred type of work and hours for the most part, but please understand this role is going to include Weekends, Early Starts and Midnight finishes.
Working here is a change of pace, we all work as a team and help each other out. We are a fun, caring team and the Management and our Maintenance Staff are also regular drivers too, so we know the work and understand the good and the bad of each route/vehicle so we can empathise and help with any issues – we have an open door policy.
