Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and passionate beauty therapist who is able to carry out treatments at a high standard whilst continuing to strive to improve not only themselves but the overall performance of the salon.

As a Senior Beauty Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while helping clients achieve their desired looks. Your ability to communicate effectively in English and create a welcoming atmosphere will be key to ensuring client satisfaction.

We will work beside you ensuring you are given all the support to grow as a Senior beauty therapist, this will include training days so you can widen your knowledge within the beauty industry and grow as a individual.

Senior Beauty Therapist must be able (be confident) to perform manicures, pedicures, massages (Swedish, Hot stone, Aromatherapy, Manual Lymphatic drainage massage, Facials (including RF, microcurrent), waxing, eye treatments and gel nail enhancements to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing professional advice on beauty products and services.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication skills.
Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to provide clients with the best possible service.
Handle client bookings and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
Support the smooth day-to-day running of the salon.
Assist with salon opening and closing duties.
Help with cleaning, laundry, stock management, and preparation of treatment areas.
Contribute positively to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client preferences for future reference.
Promote retail products effectively to enhance client satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products through continuous professional development.

What are we looking for:

Excellent understanding of client care and five star treatment standard.
Ability to operate efficiently in a busy environment.
A team player with an excellent attitude towards their work.
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Beauty Therapist: 3 year (Required).
NVQ level 3 or equivalent 3 preferred.
Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.
A valid beauty qualification or certification is required.
A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Working Hours

Part - time position (16 - 22h), leading to full time position.
Must be available to work 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Additional hours may be available depending on business needs.
