Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Singing and Piano Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, personalised lessons that foster musical growth, confidence, and enjoyment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment, nurturing musical talent through structured instruction and encouragement.

Duties

Design and deliver customised singing and piano lessons tailored to each student's ability and goals
Prepare lesson plans that incorporate technical skills, music theory, and performance techniques
Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
Organise recitals or performances to showcase students’ talents and build confidence
Maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages student engagement and enjoyment of music
Keep accurate records of lesson attendance, progress, and achievements
Stay informed about current teaching methods, musical repertoire, and industry developments to enhance instructional quality
Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and upcoming events

Qualifications

Proven experience in teaching singing and piano, with a strong portfolio of student development
Formal qualifications in music or related disciplines are preferred but not essential for highly experienced candidates
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
Strong interpersonal skills to motivate students and foster a supportive learning environment
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs and abilities
Passion for music education with a commitment to inspiring others through the arts
