Baker – Immediate Start

Saint Hugo Bakery & Café is looking for a Baker to join our team, with an immediate start available.

This is a hands-on role for a skilled baker with strong bakery experience and a genuine passion for producing exceptional bread and pastries. You'll work alongside our bakery team to create high-quality sourdough breads and laminated pastries while maintaining our high standards of consistency and presentation.

The role

Prepare and bake a range of sourdough breads and laminated pastries
Follow production schedules and recipes to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain high standards of presentation and product quality
Work with premium ingredients to produce exceptional baked goods
Keep the bakery clean, organised, and compliant with food safety standards
Work collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced environment

What we're looking for

Previous professional bakery experience
Experience working with sourdough fermentation and laminated pastries
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
A genuine passion for baking and quality ingredients
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
