GLL is looking for Catering Supervisor to work at Gateshead International Stadium to support the food & beverage operation at Gateshead International Stadium on match days . As a Catering Supervisor you’ll support the food & beverage operation at Gateshead International Stadium on match days and ensure the catering/bar team achieves its full potential, ensuring the food stalls & bars can deliver consistency as well as helping put together creative food & drink ideas for the match day experience.
We’re looking for a Catering Supervisor who is hardworking, excellent customer service and good multi-tasking skills. Prior experience in food/bar industry is desirable with an up-to-date knowledge of food safety.
What you’ll do:
Manage a team of catering & bar assistants
Place food and drinks orders
Stock take
Cater for children’s parties
Be a friendly and welcoming face to visitors and customers at the facility
To undertake the preparation, serving and deliver of fresh food and drinks.
Participate in the production and services standards of the café & bar, ensuring high standards of health safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
Ensure follow food safety law and ensure it is maintained
Ensure venue challenge 25 policy is followed and enforced
Comply with GLL and Venue policies
To actively contribute to the development of café service
To assistant setting up rooms for functions and events
To undertake cash handling and card payments.
Attend meetings/training and be part of the facility team.

What you need:
Work as part of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
Provide excellent customer care and have good multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of licensing laws and legislation around the sale of alcohol
Prior experience in food industry (desirable)
Prior experience in a bar setting (desirable)
Up-to-date level 2 food hygiene & safety (desirable)
Follow all Normal & Emergency Operating Procedures as well as adhering to relevant product manuals
Fully participate in and engage in the training through centre –based training and on-going assessment on performance
