Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel or hospitality environments, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a keen eye for detail. As the Head Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction through impeccable service and a well-maintained environment.

Duties

Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimise efficiency.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Uphold health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and health standards is desirable.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
