Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail to contribute to a welcoming environment for our guests. Prior hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with laundry duties as required
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and other supplies in guest rooms
Maintain the organisation of linen closets and storage areas
Respond promptly to guest requests or special instructions

Qualifications

Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is desirable
Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
