Pastoral Support Assistant and DDSL

SCP A5, £25,583 per annum, pro-rated

Contract Term: Full time, term time only (39 weeks)

You won’t simply provide pastoral support; you will:

Act as a key safeguarding presence within the UTC, supporting and deputising for the DSL

Respond to concerns with professionalism, care, and a clear understanding of procedures

Build trusted relationships with students, enabling them to feel safe, heard, and supported

Work closely with families, staff, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes

Deliver targeted interventions to strengthen emotional wellbeing, resilience, and self-regulation
