Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with energy and enthusiasm. In this vital role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure exceptional food quality, and foster a positive, efficient work environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our food service offerings, uphold safety standards, and inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production, preparation, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and other culinary team members, fostering teamwork and professional growth
Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Coordinate inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff that appeal to diverse customer preferences while maintaining quality standards
Train new team members on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and service standards to ensure smooth onboarding
Monitor kitchen workflow during service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any operational issues promptly

Skills

Extensive experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Proven management skills with supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively
Deep understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in sanitation and hygiene
Excellent organizational skills for inventory control and workflow management
Knowledge of culinary techniques across various cuisines and menu development
Previous experience working as a barista or in beverage service is a plus but not required
Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure seamless service delivery
