Housekeeping Supervisor — The Stratford Hotel, Stratford E20

We're hiring an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for The Stratford, an Autograph Collection by Marriott design hotel in Stratford, East London (E20) — two minutes from Stratford International and Westfield. £13.75–£[15.31] per hour plus service charge, with free meals on shift, up to 50% off food & drink, and discounted Marriott hotel rooms worldwide.

You'll lead a team of room attendants and housekeeping assistants across our 145 guest rooms and public areas, making sure every room meets Marriott brand standard before guests arrive. The Stratford does things a little differently — we value authenticity, teamwork and a growth mindset, and we want someone who brings that energy to the floor every day.

What you'll do

Allocate daily rooms and tasks to room attendants, inspect bedrooms and public areas to brand standard, and sign off rooms ready for guest check-in
Train, support and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness
Manage linen, turndown and cleaning-supply stock levels and report shortfalls
Liaise closely with Front Office and Maintenance so rooms are ready in line with guest check-in/check-out
Handle guest requests and investigate housekeeping complaints, taking corrective action and reporting to Housekeeping management
Be a hands-on, visible supervisor — ready to roll up your sleeves and support the wider team across the operation during peak times and busy changeovers.
Uphold health & safety and COSHH standards across the department

What we're looking for

At least 6 months experience in a hotel housekeeping Supervisor role
Friendly and approachable, with a positive attitude and a genuine eye for detail
Organised and proactive, with a passion for caring guest service
Comfortable working a rota that includes weekends and varied shifts
Comfortable with everyday IT — email (Outlook) and basic Excel for rotas, checklists and stock records
A head for numbers — tracking room productivity, linen and stock levels
Familiar with hotel property management or housekeeping systems
