Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, food safety, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees and teas, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required.
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter or via takeaway service, maintaining excellent customer relations.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage basic maths calculations for change and sales totals.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
- Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
- Ability to serve customers courteously with excellent communication skills.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: £12.21-£16.81 per hour
