Position - Production Painter

Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities

Prepare component surfaces using Vapour blasters, Orbital sanders and manual sanding techniques.

Effectively mask components prior to paint application using masking tapes and paper.
- Mix paint by volume and viscosity to approved documentation and specifications.
- Equipment – competent in setting/adjusting spray guns to required settings and to maintain spray equipment in a good, clean condition.

Apply paint by brush and spray techniques to process documentation and specifications.

Other production duties in-line with the business requirements.
Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.
Experience: 0-2 years of relevant field is required.
Ability to read various instructions.
Able to problem-solve using existing procedures to perform straightforward tasks.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Good attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills.
