Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your welding expertise within a dynamic environment, contributing to high-quality projects and ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.

Duties

Perform MIG welding techniques to produce precise and durable welds on a variety of materials.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment efficiently to cut, shape, and join sheet metal and other materials.
Conduct fabrication tasks including cutting, bending, and assembling metal components according to project requirements.
Assist in the maintenance and inspection of welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Requirements

Proven experience in MIG welding and general fabrication processes.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and mechanical principles.
Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and tolerances.
Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of fabrication techniques is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to welding environments. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about precision welding and fabrication, eager to develop their skills further within a professional setting.
Coded preferable

Pay: £21.00-£23.00 per hour
