- We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our team as Lean Manufacturing Operational Apprentices. You will be part of our manufacturing team, and learn the processes and technology behind the production of our products
- Our site has the most up to date “state of the art” production facilities which enable us to provide the high level of service expected from our customers
- During this scheme you will get first-hand work experience and hands-on training in an operational manufacturing environment while studying towards a Level 2 apprenticeship. You will be working through various departments but wherever you’re based in your placement you will learn about the end-to-end operational processes
- Further learning and development opportunities will be included throughout the apprenticeship journey with DJ Assembly
- You will also be expected to complete production and quality documentation as required, maintain a clean and safe working environment & complete any other reasonable tasks beneficial to the business
Desired Skills
- Capable of working to written instructions
- You should have some exposure/interest/qualification in electronics
- High dexterity and attention to detail is essential
- An understanding that we work to a production schedule and quality requirements
- Be able to complete production and quality documentation as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Support the Company’s continual improvement, 5S and lean initiatives

Desired qualifications
None so desired, however the candidate should have some exposure, interest or pre-existing qualification in electronics, engineering, technical / inquisitive interest or PCB assembly in order to make the most of their apprenticeship with us.
