Job Summary
Due to our recent expansion we are seeking a motivated and reliable Scaffold Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks across our various sites, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The Labourer will be expected to work under supervision, assisting with physical tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and unloading materials, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed
- Supporting the movement of goods and equipment around the site using appropriate tools and machinery
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including waste disposal and site tidiness
- Assisting Scaffolders and other team members with their tasks as required
- Performing general labouring duties such transportation of scaffolding kit
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring or manual handling role is desirable but not essential
- DRIVING LICENSE ESSENTIAL
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a work environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Must be organised, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all duties undertaken
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71-£15.50 per hour
