As a Facilities Coordinator at Sodexo, based at Colchester Hospital, you’ll take the lead in delivering high-quality services in a dynamic healthcare environment. What you’ll do:

Lead and support the on-site team to deliver high-quality services that meet client, patient and customer expectations.

Build strong relationships with the hospital, client and internal teams, acting as a trusted and visible point of contact.

Monitor service standards, customer feedback and KPIs, taking action to continually improve the experience for patients, visitors and colleagues.

Take ownership of budgets, costs and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and grow services.

Champion health, safety, food hygiene and company standards, ensuring the team works safely and consistently in a healthcare environment.

Coach, develop and motivate colleagues through effective communication, training and day-to-day leadership, creating a positive and inclusive team culture.

Be proactive and hands-on, supporting events, service improvements and operational challenges while ensuring the site runs smoothly every day.
What you bring:
-
Proven experience of leading, supporting and developing a team, ideally in a fast-paced service, hospitality, facilities or healthcare environment.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work with colleagues, clients and customers at all levels.

A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to make decisions and respond calmly to changing priorities.

Good understanding of budgets, costs, KPIs and performance, with the ability to balance commercial goals with excellent service.

A genuine commitment to customer and patient experience, with a passion for delivering consistently high standards.

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands in a busy environment.

Good IT, numeracy and literacy skills, with confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel; Food Hygiene Level 2 and IOSH qualifications are desirable.
