Are you an Engineering or Communications graduate with an interest in telecommunications? Do you enjoy working with people just as much as solving technical problems?

Metricell is looking for a Graduate Commercial Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the commercial side of telecoms, working across areas such as pre-sales, account management and product support.

Rather than being confined to one discipline, you'll gain exposure to a variety of customer-facing technical roles, helping customers understand our solutions, supporting deployments, and building long-term relationships.

What you'll be doing

Depending on your strengths and interests, you'll support activities including:

Working with customers to understand their technical and business requirements.
Assisting with demonstrations, proposals and pre-sales activities.
Supporting the delivery and implementation of telecoms and software solutions.
Providing technical product support to customers and internal teams.
Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a trusted point of contact.
Collaborating with Engineering, Product, Delivery and Sales teams.
Learning our products and technologies to become a subject matter expert.
Helping identify opportunities to improve customer experience and commercial success.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in telecommunications.

You'll ideally have:

A degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Communications Engineering, Network Engineering or a related discipline.
A basic understanding of telecommunications or mobile networks (such as 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi or in-building wireless systems).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence presenting ideas and explaining technical concepts to different audiences.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
The ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

Experience with customer-facing work, presentations, placements or internships would be an advantage but is not essential.
