Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Roll Label Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining label printing machinery, ensuring high-quality output, and supporting production processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, mechanical systems, and basic engineering principles. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate roll label printing machinery efficiently and accurately
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimise downtime
- Set up machines according to specifications using hand tools and tooling
- Monitor production quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards
- Handle materials safely, including loading rolls of labels and managing inventory
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with safety regulations
- Document production data accurately for quality control purposes
Experience
- Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools and materials handling techniques
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous
- Prior experience working with machinery in a production or industrial setting is desirable

Pay: £13.17-£16.47 per hour
