SUMMARY OF ROLE:

To manage the day-to-day logistics that are so critical to the successful execution of the project. You will play a key role in delivering one of Glasgow’s most prestigious and notable projects. You will work closely with the site team to ensure the site operates smoothly, with a focus on doing things the right way. Organisational skills, along with the ability to communicate well, will be key for this role.

The role will be heavily involved in the day to day running of the project, and will be key to determining if the project is ran successfully.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to develop their career.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include but are not limited to:

Management of deliveries, including co-ordination, scheduling and approval
Management of delivery gates, suitability and use.
Management of on-site staff, including gatemen, forklift drivers, hoist drivers etc
Work closely with the site management team to co-ordinate
Work with the contract administrator to ensure site paperwork and inspections are maintained
Work with the crane team to manage the use of the Tower Cranes.
Co-ordinate with sub-contractors
Manage site storage

KEY SKILLS:

Disciplined approach essential to maintain standards
Strong communication skills with the ability to build excellent working relationships with a wide range of people
Enthusiastic, personable and approachable
Excellent organisational skills, capable of prioritising workload
Strong drive to continuously improve systems and processes
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Ability to use own initiative and work with a proactive approach
