Full job description

Hours:

Tuesday to Friday: 1:00pm – 8:00pm (can be slightly flexible ie 2:00pm - 9:00pm)

Saturday: 8:30am – 2:30pm - but Saturday hours can be completely flexible to suit.

Sunday & Monday: Off - can choose a different day to Monday if preferred. Flexible.

Garment Production Operative (Embroidery & Print)

Back British Farming Official – Near Eden Project, Cornwall

We are a friendly, family-run business based near the Eden Project in Cornwall, producing embroidered and printed garments for our growing customer base.

We are looking for a reliable Garment Production Operative to join our team on a Monday–Friday afternoon/evening shift. This is a hands-on role in a supportive small team, with full training provided.

The Role

You will be involved in the production of finished garments using embroidery machines and heat press equipment.

Duties include:

Operating embroidery machines
Using heat press equipment for garment decoration
Loading garments and setting up designs
Quality checking finished products
Supporting smooth handover with the morning operator
Keeping the workspace clean and organised

No prior experience is required if you are practical, reliable, and willing to learn.

Salary

£28,000 – £33,000 per year (depending on experience)

This role may suit someone who:

Prefers afternoon/evening working hours
Is currently self-employed and looking for stable, guaranteed income
Has experience in sewing, textiles, printing, manufacturing, or hands-on production work
Enjoys practical, detail-focused work

We are open to both employed and self-employed applicants, depending on the right fit and working arrangement.
