Job Overview
This is an office based role, Monday to Friday (no weekends),
This is a part-time role of 27.5 hours per week

The salary banding is depending on experience and the level of complex ER case handling experience. This role is for someone with direct HR experience.
This role requires the successful applicant to hold a full UK driving licence and their own transportation, due to some requirement to travel across our multiple sites (3 sites based in Sittingbourne, Kent).

Duties
Include but are not limited to:
- ER case management.
- HR project assignments.
- Compliance and maintenance of the internal HR, Training and Document Controlled systems.
- Provide administrative support in all aspects.
- Must be able to compile formal documentation and communications without reliance on templates.
- First point of contact for initial HR queries, ensuring high standards of service to our internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruitment lead and onboarding cycle.
- Minute taking in formal meetings.
- Provide information, advice and guidance to our management team.
- Facilitation and coordination of Colleague Forums.
- Must be commercially minded with the ability to make sound judgements and recommendations.
- Conduct internal audits.
Skills
- Previous HR experience including HR project work
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience of ER case handling including proven experience of variety of cases including more complex cases.
- Must have experience of minute taking within formal meetings
- Must have proven experience of leading on IAG provided to managers
- Good understanding of UK Employment Law / Legislation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-driven and urgency awareness.
- With an ability to multi task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- ‘Can do’ attitude
- Must be approachable and supportive in their approach, whilst polite and professional.
- Maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Confident in communicating in person, verbally and in writing.
- GCSE grade 5 / C or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
- Computer Literate with good knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel and PowerPoint and HRIS.
- Complete understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.
- Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified, however experience within a similar role is more advantageous.
