Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Air Conditioning Improver to join our team. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems across various construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with equipment repair, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within the HVAC industry while contributing to high-quality service delivery. Applicants should be organised, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, servicing, and repair of air conditioning units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to ensure accurate system setup and troubleshooting.
Support senior technicians in diagnosing faults and performing equipment repairs efficiently.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks to optimise system performance and longevity.
Follow health and safety protocols during all phases of work to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes.
Maintain clean and organised work areas, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and components.
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
Previous experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or construction is highly desirable.
Strong organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
Leadership qualities to assist in guiding junior team members when necessary.
Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members professionally.
Basic knowledge of air conditioning systems and related electrical components is preferred.
