Full job description

Bar Staff

Hours: You must be available to work during the week day/ early evening and Saturdays day and/or evenings (depending on functions)

Approximately 20 hours a week however this is flexible so may be more or less.

We’re on the lookout for a friendly, outgoing, and hardworking individual to join our bar team. If you thrive in a customer-focused environment and enjoy making people feel welcome, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Greeting and interacting with member's and non-member's in a professional and friendly manner
Taking food orders and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Checking ID to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age
Restocking bar supplies and maintaining cleanliness behind the bar
Handling both cash and card payments
Cashing up and locking up at the end of shifts
Maintaining a high standard of service, even during quieter periods

What We’re Looking For:

Ideally, previous bar experience (preferred)
Over 18 years of age (required)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Calm under pressure with great attention to detail
Flexible with working hours (including weekends and evenings)
Physically able to stand for long periods during shifts
