Job Overview
Bookkeeper required to process and pay supplier invoices, do bank reconciliations and submit quarterly VAT returns using SAGE accounting. You will work with the Office Manager who oversees the Accounts and office administration.
Other duties will include general office work including answering the phone and arranging travel for UK/overseas race events.
Must be highly organised and able to work on your own initiative. Must also be proficient in Word and Excel.
We are a small but interesting company that deal with historic race vehicles and restoration. We work to high standard for many clients around the world.
Previous experience in the motor industry would be useful but not essential.
Schedule
- Part-time hours: minimum 20 per week/over 3 or 4 days
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday preferred.
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software Sage
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work output
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Payroll knowledge – would be useful
