Full job description

Memory Lane is now recruiting a Part-Time Coordinator. This is a leading role for Memory Lane being the only paid member of staff, where the main duties are:

To plan and organise the programme of events
Recruit and support members and volunteers
Provide regular reports to Trustees
Produce the regular newsletter
Network locally
Promote the charity
Contribute to fundraising.

The Coordinator is home based with flexible hours of working, however, this post requires regular attendance on Wednesdays and flexibility with other hours for meetings, other activities and events.

Memory Lane is a small charity which provides social activities in the Eastbourne area for people with memory problems/dementia and equally for the person who cares for them.

Our weekly Wednesday group offers singing, dancing and seated sports and the monthly Saturday Club offers soup with quizzes and games. We participate in community based activities such as the Towner Cinema relaxed screenings and arrange coach outings, parties and social events across the year.
