Office Administrator
Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club – Eastbourne
Full-Time Position or Two Part-Time Positions Considered
Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club is seeking an organised, professional, and customer-focused Office Administrator to join our team.
This varied role is central to the smooth running of the club and includes responsibility for membership administration, function and event bookings, customer service, financial administration, club boat bookings, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the yacht club.
Key Duties
- Acting as the first point of contact for members, visitors, suppliers, and clients.
- Managing membership applications, renewals, and member records.
- Coordinating private and corporate function bookings from enquiry through to completion.
- Administering the Jebbs booking system, including club boat bookings.
- Processing banking, invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Supporting the General Manager with operational, administrative, and building-related matters.
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and office systems.
- Assisting in ensuring the club operates safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Hours of Work
The standard working hours are generally 9:00am to 5:00pm. Flexibility is essential, with occasional 7:00am to 4:00pm shifts, Saturday working, and additional hours required to meet business and operational needs.
Salary and Working Pattern
Salary: Competitive salary package, dependent on experience.
Working Pattern: Applications are welcomed from candidates seeking either a full-time position or two part-time positions sharing the responsibilities of the role, including Saturday cover.
