Full job description

Award winning Electric Hairdressing Brighton is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic Freelance Book keeper to join the team.

Founded in Brighton,Electric encompases hairdressing salons, event spaces and and a growing global Hair product range.

Reporting to the owner Mark Woolley this role will be for aprox 10 hours per week and will be responsible for -

Bank and credit card reconciliations

Updating cash flow report, intercompany accounts and monitoring salon spends

Extensive purchase ledger

Processing the payroll including pension scheme admin

Sales ledger and credit control

Quarterly VAT returns

Assisting with year-end accounts preparation

This is an incredibly busy role which will require someone with excellent attention to detail, communication and timekeeping skills, and be used to working on own initiative.

Must be proficient in Excel and Sage. Ideally be AAT qualified or passed finalist, with at least 5 years experience of working in a financial role.

Pay: £25.00 per hour
