Due to expansion and growth of services, opportunities are available at Wrightington Hospital, for you to join a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary team as a scrub practitioner, delivering quality patient centred care and patient safety throughout the patient pathway.
You must be a registered Operating Department Practitioner / registered Nurse at Band 5, experience working within the theatre environment is preferable however training is available. The ambition and desire to develop your skills within the theatre environment is essential
Our Theatre Teams also work closely with some of the region's leading consultants and are exposed to the latest innovative, evidence -based clinical techniques. Our real driving force is our ability to invest in our people, as we support our Theater Nurses and ODPs to build their skills through mentoring and formal training such as ALS or ASP.

Responsibility for Finance
The post holder will:
Participate in ensuring the effective utilisation of all financial resources in providing and
delivering the service
Identify and assist in implementing Cost Improvement Programmes within the service.
Promote effective utilisation of theatre.
