Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain practical, hands-on experience while studying towards recognised industry qualifications.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Learning to diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment under supervision.
- Supporting engineers on commercial, retail, educational, and hospitality sites.
- Recording work carried out using electronic job management systems and tablet devices.
- Developing an understanding of health and safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Building technical knowledge and practical skills through both on-site training and college-based learning.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine interest in refrigeration, air conditioning, or mechanical systems.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using electronic devices.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are preferred.
- A full clean UK drivers licence is desirable.

Pay: £16,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
