Join Our Team as an Examination Reader, Scribe, and Invigilator at Bitterne Park School!

Your Role

As an Examination Reader, Scribe, and Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in helping students with special educational needs access their examinations. Your responsibilities will include:

Reading examination questions aloud to students who require assistance.
Scribing responses for students who find it difficult to write their answers independently.
Invigilating exams to ensure they are conducted fairly and according to regulations.
Providing a calm and supportive environment to help students focus during their exams.
Ensuring all examination materials are distributed and collected in an orderly manner.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students in a positive manner.
Patience and empathy, with a strong desire to support students' needs.
Reliable and professional, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Flexibility to work different hours during exam periods.
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
