Full job description

GP Receptionist (Patient Coordinator)

About us

New Forest Central Medical Group is a community-centered GP practice dedicated to providing compassionate and accessible healthcare to our 7,500 patients. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued. As a Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping them navigate their healthcare needs with professionalism and kindness.

The role

Are you passionate about supporting your local community? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic, patient-focused environment? Join our friendly team at New Forest Medical Group, where you'll play a key role in helping our community access quality healthcare.

Session days and hours -15.5 per week - Monday 08:00 - 18:30 and Frriday 13:00 - 18:30

Sessions will be at either our Brockenhurst or Sway site. There is also the opportunity for additional, flexible hours on an ad-hoc basis.

What we're looking for:

A warm and friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional, even during busy periods.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A genuine passion for working in a community-based environment.
Previous experience in a GP surgery reception.
Proficiency in basic IT skills (training will be provided for our systems).
