Yellow Door is an amazing charity that is quite literally changing lives for the better across the Hampshire area, with a team of around 100 staff and volunteers, working together to prevent and respond to domestic and sexual abuse. We provide a diverse and innovative range of services to local people of all ages and genders. Last year we engaged with over 4,500 clients to provide crucial support, information, and in some cases a lifeline. Right now, our services have never been more in demand, so our volunteers and supporters are absolutely critical to us.

We are recruiting:
Adult Therapists for Hampshire Domestic Abuse Therapeutic Service

These roles are for our new therapeutic service for children, young people and adults living in Hampshire who have experienced Domestic Abuse. A partnership between by two specialist organisations in the domestic abuse field (Yellow Door and Stop Domestic Abuse). It will provide a dedicated therapeutic pathway and inventions, delivered locally, for victim/ survivors of Domestic Abuse, these may be individual or group sessions as required to meet diverse needs of those who access our services.

Salary: £30,847 - £36,108 (full time equivalent)

Hours: 22.5 to 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Permanent (subject to successful probationary period) or self-employed option available.

Working hours negotiable but required to work on a Thursday for supervision, some early evening hours may be required.

You will be an experienced and qualified Therapist, having worked in voluntary or statutory roles and skilled in working with adults and or children who have experienced abuse and trauma with knowledge of evidence-based work for domestic and/or sexual abuse. You will provide therapeutic intervention to service users across Hampshire. The sessions will be delivered in the community; meeting the needs of the victims/ survivors. You will be working between Yellow Door Southampton and community settings, across Hampshire this role will involve travel, you will be an essential car user.
