Full job description

The post holder will be responsible for co‑ordinating the pathway of care for all trauma patients. Highly specialist knowledge and advanced skills are required in order to assess the physical, psychological and social needs of patients following admission.

The candidate will be part of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) team on a rota covering all aspects of trauma and orthopaedics.

This role is eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, as defined by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). We welcome applications from individuals who require sponsorship to work in the UK. Sponsorship will be offered subject to meeting UKVI eligibility criteria.

Work effectively and resourcefully by coordinating the clinical care of patients and implementing clinical decisions made by the consultant.

Use expert knowledge and clinical judgement to determine the need for investigations and make initial diagnoses.

Act as an interface between medical practitioners, nursing staff, the multidisciplinary team, patients and their carers.

Provide specialist advice to nursing and medical staff when required.

Deliver ACP‑led clinics—both virtual and face‑to‑face—within the outpatient setting, including advanced assessment, clinical examination, referral for investigations, and completion of clinical records.
