Overview

Required for Friday and Saturday, with immediate start, Ad-hoc welcome.

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to join our team, providing security and ensuring the safety of patrons and staff at our venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanour, and the ability to handle challenging situations with confidence. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Duties

Monitor entry points and conduct thorough ID checks to verify age and identification
Enforce venue policies and procedures to prevent unauthorised access or disruptive behaviour
Respond promptly to incidents, including managing conflicts or disturbances in a professional manner
Assist with loss prevention by observing for theft or unauthorised activities
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals on site
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
Ensure the venue complies with health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Proven experience in pub/club security roles preferred.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically
Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
First aid certification is desirable but not essential; training can be provided if required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and manage potentially challenging interactions
