About us

We are a family run Hotel, Bar Restaurant and Wedding Venue set in beautiful surroundings.

We are looking for all levels of Chefs to join our fast-paced and innovative company. The ideal candidate will have experience planning, preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes. We're looking for a kitchen leader who is comfortable supporting our Executive Chef developing creative menus, using fresh ingredients and providing guidance to the other staff in our kitchen.

Responsibilities:

To support the Executive Chef

Use good judgement when dealing with customers, food, and equipment.
Be able to work under pressure and quickly adapt to changing customer needs.
Be familiar with all health, sanitation, and safety policies and procedures.
Be familiar with food handling and storage techniques for fruits, vegetables, fish, poultry, meat, dairy products, dry goods and canned goods.
Prepare different types of meals from raw ingredients in accordance with recipes or customer requests.
Use a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment such as knives, broilers, sauté pans, mixers, ovens, grills, slicers, mandolins.
Be able to accurately estimate the cost of preparing meals or serving dishes that normally require more than an hour of preparation time.Competitive rate of pay. Salary dependant on experience.
To be responsibile for running the kitchen and managing the team.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
