We're looking for an enthusiastic, confident Bar & Events Team Leader to join our team at The Oak Tree of Peover.

What You'll Be Doing:
As Team Leader, you'll be at the centre of the action, helping to deliver exceptional weddings and events from start to finish.
Your role will include:
- Leading the bar team during weddings and events
- Serving a variety of drinks while creating a fantastic guest experience
- Opening and closing the bar, cashing up, and completing reports
- Keeping the bar organised, stocked, and running smoothly
- Managing stock, deliveries, orders, and waste control
- Supporting venue set-ups and event changeovers
- Ensuring licensing regulations and health & safety standards are met
- Working closely with the wider team to help deliver outstanding events
What We're Looking For:
We're after someone who brings energy, confidence, and a positive attitude to every shift.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience supervising a busy team
- Strong customer service and people skills
- The ability to lead by example and motivate others
- Confidence managing staff and handling busy event environments
- Knowledge of drinks, spirits, bar operations, EPOS systems, and cellar duties
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late finishes (up to 1am)
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to our rural location
Extra Credit If You Have:
- Experience working in weddings or events
- BIIAB Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders
- First Aid certification
Hours & Shifts
Example shifts:
Most events are weekends, however, we often have Mon-Thurs events as well.
- Thursday: 6pm – 1am
- Saturday: 4pm – 1am
